Professional Qualifications
Dr. Hitendra K. Doshi graduated from medical school in 2001 and obtained his Masters of Medicine (Orthopaedic Surgery) from National University of Singapore in 2005. He completed his Orthopaedic Surgical Training in 2009 and graduated as a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons in Edinburgh (FRCS) and as a Fellow of the European Board of Orthopaedics and Traumatology (FEBOT).
Dr. Hitendra K. Doshi was subsequently awarded a Clinical Fellowship in Trauma and Arthroplasty in Germany (2009) by SICOT organization after topping the Diploma Exams (Dip SICOT). He was also awarded by the ‘AO Trauma Education’ institute to pursue another Clinical Fellowship in Complex Trauma in Fribourg, Switzerland (2012).
To further his sub-specialty orthopaedic training, Dr. Hitendra K. Doshi was awarded a training scholarship by the Ministry of Health and completed Clinical Fellowships in Innsbruck, Austria for the duration of 1 year to pursue his clinical interest in Adult Trauma and Joint Replacement Surgery as well as a Fellowship in Geriatric Fracture Management (2012/2013).
Besides his sub-speciality interest he is also an experience teacher and lecturer and has a Diploma in Medical Education from Cardiff University, United Kingdom. His current practice involves management of patients with Complex Fractures and patients requiring Joint Replacement or Reconstruction with a particular interest in the aging population (Geriatric Orthopaedics).
